 Hendry County Motorsports Park calls itself "The Southern Most Dirt Track in the USA." There are a couple of tracks in Texas that could rightly dispute that claim. |

 The track is technically in Whidden Corner but just about everyone refers to it as being in Clewiston, the largest nearby town. |

 Hendry County Motorsports Park has gone through several name changes. The track has also been called Sugarland Raceway Park, County Line Speedway, and Clewiston Speedway. |

 The track is very close to Lake Okeechobee in the Everglades, and closes during the rainy season when evening thunderstorms are an almost daily occurrence. |
