Ocala Motor Speedway opened as a quarter mile dirt oval late in 1952. It remained a quarter mile through the 1963 season.

From 1964-1995 it was enlarged to a 3/8 mile dirt oval.

The first three photos on this page was from my first visit to the track, in 1983, to see the All Star Circuit of Champions Late Models.

After spending over a decade as a paved track from 1996-2007, the track returned to dirt in 2008. The last three photos are from a 2011 visit.

Besides Ocala Speedway and the current Bubba's Raceway Park name, the track has also been known as Lightning Speedway, Marion County Speedway, and Zuber Speedway.

A track has been operating at this location for over 65 years, making it the longest continuously operating facility in Florida.
