First Race: 1960
Date of First Visit: 04/20/2013 (Track #1493)
RTR YouTube Video:

The track is located in Lake Cicott, but it is very close to Logansport. At one time it was called Logansport Speedway.

The track began as a dirt track, but spent quite a few seasons as a paved track, 1962-1990, before returning to dirt.

For its first stint as dirt, it was a 1/10 mile track. It was enlarged to 1/8 when it was paved. When it returned to dirt, it stayed the larger size, independently measured at .170 miles.

Both winged and wingless micro sprints race at the track on a regular basis.

Comments:

Don Salzer: Okay guy wtf... I have been to Indy 25 times and have never heard of this place.... Is it near Speedway, in???

John Codner: no.

Don Salzer: Says speedway indiana????

Guy Smith: US 24 Speedway the name of the track, in Indiana. Not the town of Speedway, IN. If you read the text on the photo page, you will see it is in Lake Cicott near Logansport. Mapquest says that is about a 90 minute drive from Indianapolis.
