 Racing at Northwood Lake is not sanctioned by any of the New Hampshire ice racing clubs. |

 The local Lions Club organizes the races to raise money for their special needs children's camp. |
|
 The races are held for Street Stock and Four Cylinder Stock classes, not for any of the exotic Sprint Car or Modified cars that race with the clubs. |

 A seafood chowder cookoff with sample bowls for $1 was the highlight of the day for us. Had to sample each chowder, which was only fair before voting for the best. |
