 In 2018, the Winged Sprint Cars of the Lakes Region Ice Racing Club took to the ice on Meredith Bay for the first time in 26 years. |
|
 Racing at Meredith Bay dates back as far as 1954. This was one of the four stock car classes. |
|
 Seven different classes took to the ice oval for the afternoon of racing, including the Modifieds, shown above. |
|
 The race was called "The Nostalgic Latchkey Cup" after a benefit race that had started at this site in 1984. |
|
 The event, which even included a vintage class, was a tremendous success, as a crowed reported at 1,200 took to the ice to support the race. |
