 Over a decade after first trying an inner-oval track on the backstretch, in 2002 Bridgeport Speedway tried again. |

 This time the track was located on the frontstretch side of the main oval. |
|
 Spectators could now sit in the main grandstands to see the races. This time race night was set for Fridays. |
|
 The track is small, ARR certified at .225, but larger and wider than the original on the other side of the track. It's wide enough for Modifieds to race on it. |

 Occasionally, both tracks are in use in the same event. Notice how much darker the surface is in this picture after re-claying the track, as compared to the photos from an earlier visit above. |
