Five Mile Point Speedway dates back to the early 1950's. Even though the main track is only slightly larger than a quarter mile (ARR .270), in 2008 they joined the trend in adding a smaller inner track.

The "Inner Loop" was nearly circular. It was also virtually exactly half the size of the main oval (ARR .185), promting some to call it "2-1/2 Mile Point."

The small track was use for Mini and Micro Sprints, Slingshots, and various four cylinder stock car classes.

Turns one and two were the same turns as for the main track.
