 This old Sprint Car was the feature winner that day. The cameras always come out when the Supermodified Open class cars take to the track. |

 This is a good example of ice racing when there is little snow on the lake. The track is designated by orange cones, not plowed snow banks. |

 AMEC races are held weekly in January and February if the ice is thick enough to support the cars, haulers, and spectators. Admission to watch is always free, and that includes the pit area. |
