Fremont Speedway is located at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds.

The track still features a covered grandstand in the old style.

The original track in the 1920s and 1930s was a half-mile, as many fairgrounds tracks were at that time. In the 1940s it was shortened and has currently been measured at .310 miles.

You can see from the pictures that the track has a good surface. Note the clay sticking to the walls and signage.

There is a very nice racing hall of fame and museum at the track as well. It's hard not to like tracks that are proud of their heritage.
