 Put-In-Bay is locate on South Bass Island, on Lake Erie. |

 The races are held on the runways at the local airport. |

 The water in the background of the small island makes a beautiful backdrop for the race cars. |

 Using the runways makes for some long straights and tight turns. |

 The race commemorates the original Put-In-Bay road races, held between 1952 and 1963 on a 3.1 mile street circuit. Engraved rocks mark each corner of the original course. |
