 Borger's Speedway opened in 1999 and lasted for 13 years as a dirt track. |
|
 Local residents complained of dust, and the only option the track had to remain open was to convert their surface to asphalt. |

 The TQ Midgets put on some excellent races when the track was paved. |
|
 Unfortunately, spectators were nearly nonexistent, and the track only lasted four more seasons as a paved oval, closing in 2015. |
