 After two attempts as a dirt track, the former Nazareth National Speedway reopened three years later as Pennsylvania International Raceway. It would eventually be renamed Nazareth Speedway. |

 The track did better as a paved track, and stayed open for 18 years before closing permanently. I took this photo from the turn one grandstand at the start of the Indy Car race on August 28, 2004, which was the last race at the track. |

 While the above picture was from the final race, these last two pictures were taken before the first race on September 20, 1987. |

 Notice the large turn four grandstands from photo 2 above were not yet in place when the track opened. |
