Comments: Robert Lamond: When I was kidnapped by my parents and taken away from eastern PA, (think Reading, Dorney, Grand view, and Allentown Fairground), and held hostage in Barborsville (Huntington), WV, this was the only local track that I was aware of at the time. I went there a few times and boy was that an eye opener. Those visits taught me that as a kid growing up where I had to that point, in Allentown, I was spoiled by some of the very best short track racing ANYWHERE.
